My new oversized coffee table—built out of shipping pallets. I love it.
Art book side-table with an equine theme….
Some stuff on the shelves.
Today, Vic and I spent the entire day (literally—from 11 this morning until about 6 p.m.) setting up the terrace garden. We bought pots, pounds and pounds of soil, and several flats of plants. It took several trips with stops at four different stores, and you would not believe the mess we made.
We divided it up into two little sections: The “main” garden is on the park side of the terace, with flowers and herbs. We still need to buy a tomato plant. The other section is out “tropical” garden (it’s not really, it just looks that way) which is entirely shade-loving plants, and designed to be viewed from the living room.
The main section—flowers and herbs (and tomatoes once they’re available).
The shade-loving section.

I made it! CB2 glass balls + ikea cord kit painted white + floral wire + fishing line = a bubble lamp.
